Hello all,

I have several excel files that are macro enabled with some code in them. However, I would like to save some code free copies for back up. I thought this would be as simple as saving it to a .xlsx file but that apparently doesn't completely wipe out the vba project. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
' Save_Location
ActiveWorkbook.SaveCopyAs Filename:="C:\FileFolderBackup\BackUp.xls"
End Sub

Change FileFolderBackup to the location you would like your backup to be saved to
