hi, i am rather new to access, but am proficient in excel. i want to do this:
manually open db1.mdb, click a macro in db1 named "run_all". "run_all" will do this:
1. create a new db namd "textdb.mdb"
2. import a text file named "textfile1" (tab delimited) into textdb.mdb
3. run "textquery1" in textdb.mdb (it is a make table query, the table is named "text2table")
4. save "text2table" as another db and name it "text2db.mdb"
i have very knowledge of VB, but i am very good at clicking the record button and doing stuff in excel. thanks in advance. ray:
