Does any body know were I could download SAS to start learning how to use this program??

The same link has a "Software Downloads" section on the left.

You understand that SAS is programming-based sofware, right? It's not really like Excel where you can just click around and find neat things you can do... IMO, you're better off flipping through the book I suggested to get a feel for (1) the types of things SAS is commonly used for and (2) what would be required to do such things...

I used to run queries within SAS in my old placement.. And i wanna getting a background of writing code..

I really wanna get into it..

Then you might need to *really* buy it.

However, perhaps this kiddy-pool version will suffice as a primer:

It's my understanding that the functionality is limited in this variety.
