Morning all, our main customers have each sent their own different templates with how they would like us to send them our updated inventory lists. In total we have about 3 x CSV files, 2 x Excel files.

I then periodically have to go in and either
- change the qty's of material
- remove rows which have been sold
- add new incoming stock (i.e. add rows to the lists)

At the moment, the main stocklist gets updated first.

Then whatever changes have been made get done manually by opening up and making all the same changes again ( 5times over) to the 5 customer templates. (The customers won't change the templates, I've already tried asking, grr).

I'm wondering if there is a better way of doing this?

By the way, the templates aren't anything fancy: just 4 or 5 columns with headers where we enter the same raw information, but the the data is put in different columns tailored to what the customer has asked: i.e. Quantity may be in Column A for one customer, Column B for another, Column C for another. Same with Part Numbers etc being in different Columns for different Customers.

Thanks for any help you can provide, been scratching my head over this one for a while!

Warm Regards
