Hi,
I have an access database that I made into an .mde. I brought it to someones new pc they just got in our office (it doesn't have any version of Access loaded on it). The .mde will not run because it says it doesn't know what program was used to create the database. In the old days (VB) I know you needed to put certain system files in certain directories to get it to run. I have also used a Package and Deploy wizard for VB apps to acheive this. Is there such a thing to make .mde run on a machine that does not have access loaded on it and where do I get it?
Thanks
