Trying to make a running total on sales totals by rep SalesPivot.
The underlying data is daily --rolling to sum in pivot by week.
I change Value field settings on Sales to be Running Total in....whatever I choose nothing works.
It's giving either the same data as whats in the sales field or if I put the total on Rep, it only seems to work on Manager at then it resets every week.
So it's running a team running for each week. But I need rep, week over week, running...

I want to have the running total on all sales by person over time and if I filter, it shouldn't be counting the hidden periods.
Any ideas on how to make it work?

The table is setup with these rows:
Reporting Week #
Region
Team
Manager
Rep
Values
Manager Qta
Rep Qta
Won Bus
Running Total Sales (issue)

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
If I move reporting week to the right of rep on rows it works for Running total.
But this doesn't allow me to keep the periods on the table for some reason.
I'll keep trying. Just don't understand why it seems so much easier to do this in regular
Excel pivots.
