Running Macro From Separate Workbook

Hi all,

I have an excel workbook that keeps track of every individual quote that my company does. Within that excel workbook is a macro that takes the pertinent information from that single quote and puts it on a master quote sheet so that we can look at and filter out historical data all in one place. Each individual workbook has a unique reference in the file name followed usually by the customer's last name.

Problem is, there are a bunch of individual quote workbooks that never had the macro button pushed by my quotes department, thus not recording all of the information we should have.

These individual workbooks are saved in different locations on our company wide Dropbox system. Is there anyway I can have a macro in a separate workbook that lists all of the missing reference numbers, search for the reference number in the file name of the excel workbooks and then run the copying macro inside each individual quote workbook?

Thank you in advance! :)
