Hi!
I've been struggling for a while to get this to work properly and now I need help.

I want to make a table in excel and in one of the cells i would like to have a running clock, I've read on this forum that this is possible.

But the difficult part is that I want this clock to run when I save the excel document as a webpage and display it in for example internet explorer.

I've managed to get a java script for a clock that runs in a web page and I've seen scripts that makes this possible in excel, but i need it to work in both places. Is this at all possible?

I'm willing to bet it's not possible, web pages tend to read the system time to display, similarly excel does the same, but saving one wouldn't make it available to the other, and excel needs to be running to work, same as internet explorer (or other) for your web page, very basically, now, in html if you could create two panes, load the html clock into one and excel into the other you would have the effect

Okay, thanks for the answer. I was actually just now thinking of using two different phanes or something like that.
But if anyone has a solution that doesn't need phanes I would still be grateful!
