Hi,

I'm refreshing a colleagues sql based table, that is then use by a variety of calculations in the same spreadsheet.

It seems like its running okay but then the progress bar at the bottom right changes to state 'Rows:' and hardly moves. I left it for an hour and was only around 30% filled.

What is excel trying to do when it states 'Rows:'? Is is adding/removing rows from the SQL generated table?

I've reduced the amount of data being brought back by 1/2 by changing the date range to a shorter one, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Just trying to figure out a way to trouble shoot.

Thanks for any help
