Hi

I'm trying set up an option on the Switchboard that the user selects and then it opens up a power point program. I thought it would be as easy as recording the actions in a macro like you can in Excel, but access doesn't have that functionality. Can anyone suggestan easy way of doing this?

Thanks

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Re: Running A Power Point Program from an Access Switchboard

Hi

I worked out how to do it myself with the help from a new source that I have found - http://support.microsoft.com/. The answer turned out to be very simple and obvious. The Microsoft Support page appears to be a lot more helpful than the MS Access help screens or the MS Access books that I am using (well, in this instance, anyway).
