Can I artificially create a runtime error 1004 to check how my error handler reacts and what display happens? Can I also designate what type of error is generated, ie: if I want the same macro to produce error 75, etc.
Norie, I see your point.
Maybe my wording was abit vague.
I want to use/write a macro that when activated will intentionally cause a runtime error (ieut code or details in the wb that I know is incorrect to cause a problem) to allow me to adjust my error handler as needed, meaning if "runtime error 1004 File locked etc etc" occurs do this. I am trying these on a new wb as I don't want to kill my actual code...yet.
