Hi

How can i run a piece of SQL code every 10 mins without it freezing because this will run every 5 or 10 mins and i will have other applications open?

so say i had a query like this

SELECT Team,TotalOutanding, TimeStamp
FROM tblTotalOutstanding
Orderby Team

How can I run this SQL every 5-10 mins and put it into the spreadsheet im running it from?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
depends on how you're running it in Excel. if as a data query/table, just set the auto-refresh every n minutes to be every 5 (or 10) minutes. how you set that will be version dependent. in older versions it is just a right click from the query, properties & then enter the 5 (or 10) minutes refresh frequency
