I am running code when a worksheet comes into focus using Private Sub Worksheet_Activate().

How can I run a code when the worksheet looses focus?

I am using the Private Sub Worksheet_Activate() to run script on a worksheet whenever a user selects it and it works. ​

I also tried the following script auto protect the worksheet any time I leave the worksheet for another. it does not work.

Any ideas?​

ActiveSheet.Protect "***"
End Sub

Once you have deactivated the sheet, it is no longer the active sheet

It works for me & protects the sheet that has just been deactivated (ie the sheet with the code in).
