Row numbers disappearing/reappearing

Okay, so this is weird. I have chunks of row numbers that are missing. The rows are there, but the row numbers are not. If I page down or up, it stays the same. But if I scroll down or up the one row at a time using the arrow key, the row numbers on the left suddenly appear one by one.

Any ideas? This just started happening about a week or two ago. It doesn't really affect anything else. But it is irritating!

Is this on a monitor that is connected to a laptop? Does it happen on the laptop's internal screen?

This is on my laptop's screen. Nothing that I know of has changed. Same laptop I've been using for 2+ years. Maybe a memory issue?

Is the data maybe grouped? try ungrouping it. in the menu Data/Outline:

Data is not grouped and this is happening beyond just this one workbook. Seems to be a global issue with my Excel.

Your border look weird. Is it the desktop app?
you have a gap between the number and the actual cells. Here is a screnshot of mine.

Don't know about any gap. Nothing has changed IMO. Just showed up like this one day.

A total excel reinstall seems appropriate.
