row number

i wolud like to know if anybody can helpme to create a formula that shows the row number of the repetition os a number or word or somwething on a column

like in "find and replace" when you click on "find all"
there appears a sheet with the cell name,info, etc

there is one part that is like "$C$234" for example, but even if you select that sheet you cannot copy it
does anybody have a formula like that?

or at least can tell me how to copy-paste that sheet?

Your explanation of your needs makes no sense to me at all. Could you rephrase with specific example of what you have on your spreadsheet and what you wish to happen. Please be as clear as possible.

Sounds like the OP wants something along the lines of couinting by a common field, ie

Fred Smith 1
Fred Smith 2
Fred Smith 3
Fred Smith 4
Bert Jones 1
Bert Jones 2
Bert Jones 3

ok ill try (i dont speak english so its kinda hard)

if i have a repeated word or something in a column
i want to type that (like searching for it)
and then i want a list to appear containing every row number (or id or something)

Example:
If the word is in the column C three times, in the rows 14, 20, and 21
i want to see three cells
one with 14,other with 20, and other with 21

i hope i made myself clear
