Hi Everyone,

Seeking some help please, can't seem to work this out (however I am not amazing yet at excel to be honest).

I have this formula:

=DAYS360($B$1,IF(I5="",F5,I5),FALSE)/90
I want to round down the result to whole number;

Example: If result is 31.7, it's round down to 31.

Is there away to append this to the current formula as I don't want another column added just to achieve this. I am aware of the =ROUNDDOWN function but only know how to use it in a separate column.

Would greatly appreciated some guidance please. Thank you

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Maybe this
Excel Formula:
=INT(DAYS360($B$1,IF(I5="",F5,I5),FALSE)/90)

Are you sure ??
Are you applying the formula to return negative numbers ?
Try
Excel Formula:
=FLOOR(DAYS360($B$1,IF(I5="",F5,I5),FALSE)/90,1)

I am quite sure - example, I used your FLOOR sample and it rounded 24.78 to 25 instead of 24.

Really appreciate your responses, thank you Michael

As asked before are you trying to apply this to negative numbers ?
Or, I should say, is the result a negative number?

My apologies, no the results are never in a negative. Most results I can see are 5.0 and upwards

Something a bit odd there then....as the INT function works fine for me.
Excel Formula:
=INT(DAYS360($B$1,IF(I5="",F5,I5),FALSE)/90)

Something odd indeed !
I decided to close the sheet and re-open and apply this and now it works. Not sure what happened there.

Sincerely appreciate your time Michael, thank you again.
