I want to round the number for the decimal part 0.6, e.g if the calculated is 4.6 or 7.79 it rounds up, otherwise if the calculated is 2.5 or 9.43 it would round down. Can anyone help me?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Rounds to how many decimal places? Give a full explanation of what you want.

You do realize that normally any number whose decimal is .5 or higher rounds up. In your statement:

otherwise if the calculated is 2.5 or 9.43 it would round down

Are you looking to create some sort of custom rounding...

The brevity of your answers is not helping us help you. As alansidman said in Post #2 , we need a full explanation of what you want to accomplish. Preferably with before and after examples.
