Last year I changed half of my bar charts to have rounded ends instead of the squared off ends and I can't figure out how to do this on all the remaining charts. I am running Excel 2007 for PC.

Any help is much appreciated.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi

Try the following:

- draw a rounded rectangle in the worksheet

Inser->Shapes->Rounded Rectangle

- Copy the shape
- click on one of the bars in the series. All the bars in the series will be selected
- paste

Thanks for the answer. That works to an extent but messes up the formatting. I accomplished it a different way that seemed easy at the time. Maybe I did it in Excel 2003?

If it was xl2007 then you can set the Border Style Join type to Round.
You will have to thicken the line in order to see the effect.

Well, I tried that and it didn't get the same results. Here is what I did in the past that I can't seem to duplicate.

Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure that it is a column chart?
Did you use Line with error bars, and it is the thick error bars that have the rounded caps.
