Greetings, Is is possible to rotate a chart 90 degrees? I am not talking about swapping the x/y or anything like that, but actually rotating the chart. The application is this, we need to do a print out of a data table with the chart attached. The paper can only be used in the portrait orientation due to media format requirements. We would like to place the chart along the right edge of the paper right next to the data table. I tried placing the graph in an auto shape thinking I could just spin it.... Thanks, RB

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
I just thought of a way, sort of - make your graph, do a screen shot, pop it into powerpoint or some graphic editor, crop it and convert it to GIF or JPEG or whatever, then use an autoshape and use the graph as the background for it. Maybe there is a better way?

There's a slightly easier way you can use directly in Excel. Select your chart. Hold down the Shift key and select Edit from the menu and then Copy Picture. Select "As shown when printed" and then OK.

Select any empty cell on your spreadsheet and paste. You should see a green rotator at the top of your chart. Rotate it how you like.

Hope that helps.

If it doesn't need to be static, hold Shift while you click on the Edit menu. Copy changes to Copy Picture, select Copy Picture, use the On Screen and Picture options. Paste this picture of the chart anywhere and rotate it.

If it has to be dynamic, copy the range of cells under the chart, then hold Shift while you click on the Edit menu. Choose Paste Picture Link to paste a picture of the range, which is linked to the copied range. This picture can also be rotated, but it will change its image when the source range changes.

This linked picture is essentially what the camera tool gets you. Note that too many of these linked pictures slows everything down and may induce strange behavior, leading to a crash.
