Rota times

I'm trying to do a works Rota with let's say 3 people starting at 6 oclcok 5 at 7 oclcok and 1 at 8 o'clock but I want to know the formula . Also I want it as 06:00 07:00 08:00 on the Rota so it's easier to see.
1/3/18 2/3/18 3/3/18 etc
Person 1 06:00
Person 2 06:00
Person 3 07:00
Person 4 08:00
Etc.....
Total staff 9
Staff in at 6 3
Staff in at 7 5
Staff in at 8 1
Really hope this makes sense. I'm no expert in excel. What's so ever. But I do try lol.

To possibly get a reply on this you should be a little less vague...

1. Explain what a "works ROTA" is, since that is what you are trying to do
2. Show us what your worksheet looks like with a screenshot of it or copying the cells and pasting it here so it formats as a table, don't just type in example data since it will be hard to read and visualize as a table. Depending how your data is organized would dictate how to calculate whatever info you are trying to get. It sounds like you are trying to do a countif based on start times but not sure.

tbh Lance, this is a bigger project then your original post asked for, understandable, with weekends etc. the addition of weekends, Ft, PT employees etc is more than I am willing to do for fun.

Somebody else may want to jump in.
