Rookie needs help

I have two tables. Table (A) has a list of employees and table (B) has dates, names, hours.
I want to create a form so that when I click a calendar that one line of table (B) records will pop up for each name in Table (A) with the name field populated and the date selected on the calendar so that all I have to key enter is the hours.
Is this possible?
