Rolling this year to last year in a report in Access 2K

Howdy!

I have a query in MS Access 2000 which gives me results like this:
mnth_coll Salesman Percent Total
200207 Robert 23 36
200207 James 25 52
200208 Robert 66 75
200208 James 57 60
...
200308 Robert 28 30
200308 James 54 57

I'm trying to produce one report for the calendar year and another for the project year (September to August). How would I roll the results into the following format (Query or Report)? I'm sure the answer is simple - but I've been banging my head against my desk at work! (I would have two separate reports/queries - but for this example here is James as calendar year and Robert as Project Year):
