Rolling back on hand to a prior date.

Hi I have a power pivot table with all our receiving for the last 3 years. I would like to be able to see our total on hand as of a particular date. IE put the date range in a cell (jan31/16) And be able to see total units received by that date.

Also to be able to calculate the on hand on that date. (total units received - total units sold)

POWER PIVOT TABLES: RECEVINGS AND SALES.
