I would be really grateful if someone could let me know the best formula for calculation of the Incident resolution time. Basically I have to submit a monthly report which has 4 categories of incidents and I have to calculate the Average resolution time from the data in each category. Now the other tricky part is what's the best way to calculate the Total Average resolution time for three months separating the data based on 4 categories of incidents
For example:-
Critical
Month 1 Average 0:43:10
Month 2 Average 3:16:00
Month3 Average 112:16:30
High
Month 1 Average 4:00:14
Month 2 Average 6:05:01
Month 3 Average 7:47:04
Medium
Month 1 Average 3:06:31
Month 2 Average 5:57:39
Month 3 Average3:23:56
LOW
Month 1 Average 13:30:03
Month 2 Average 18:56:47
Month 3 Average 21:53:27
I'm in quite a fix. I'd really appreciate your assistance.
