HI,

I can't seem to get the right function to work!! I want a list of the last four digits of all the numbers in our database. The table of phone numbers vary in length some 2 digits and some 14.
This is what i have so far:
iif(len([Phone1])<=4,[Phone1],Right([Phone1],4))

It just returns nothing? Am I doing something wrong will "null" values or something?

Please help!! This is really getting on my nerves.

Regards

Rich

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
No, not directly. You will need to change the phone number to a string for the right function to work. Right(Str([Phone Number]),4)
