Hi all,

So I have created a new ribbon tab called 'Finances' and wanted to know if its possible to open a Workbook from a section on the tab that will be located on a shared folder?

I know this could be done with a macro using Workbook.open method but I'm lost as to where the macro would be written to be able to assign it to the ribbon?

Anyone have any solutions or advice please?

many thanks Paul

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
You can customize your ribbon by adding a new tab then a group.
Then you choose your macro from macros under "Macros" and drag it in. See below

Here is a video explaining it.
