Basically i have an NPS or net promoter score and a count of surveys but need to figure out a way to reverse calculate the amount of promoters. Passives, and detractors that make up that score.

Calculation steps to get score as follows:
(Promoters / total survey)-(detractors / total survey)= nps score however i need to take the score and survey total and calculate promoter, passive, detractor mix. Could a macro possibly do this?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Currently I have the NPS score and the survey count of various employees. and am looking for a way to easilly reverse engineer so to speak their NPS score with either a formula or macro. Just unsure how to do it. Currently we have a sheet where we just modify the promoter, passive, detractor survey count until it matches the total count and score which is very time consuming if we were to do this for 40 employees. Trying to figire out if it is possible to "automate" this process.
