Hello all,

Merry Christmas! :)

I'm new here but feel I'm gonna learn a lot from all you smart people!

Hoping you can help me with a little dilemma please...

I want to be able to return 4 names in B4, D4, F4 & H4, this detail will be from sheet 2 and will be based on the number entered in B2

WW9wD4S

Sheet 2 will look like the below so needs to find the value in column A and return the value from column B

Hoping this is possible and I have explained it enough above, appreciate any assistance

Many thanks

Adam

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Maybe in B4 confirmed with Ctrl Shift Enter not just Enter.
=IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet2!B2:B4,SMALL(IF(Sheet2!A2:A4=4,ROW(Sheet2!A2:A4)-ROW(Sheet2!A2)+1),1)),"")
Same formula in the other cells changing the red 1 to 2, 3 etc
