Hi All,

Trying to put something together to make an image move along a course in excel (It's for a Christmas quiz). I'm trying to follow this guide:

It doesn't work! I've tried time and again and making sure I'm following these instructions precisely but it doesn't work. I get 0 back, not an image!

I can't upload my excel from a work computer all the sharing services are blocked but if anyone can actually get this solution to work please let me know!

Of course I'm open to different solutions if anyone has any?

Basically trying to get a figure to move along a track, I was thinking of having an image appear if a cell contained a 1, and blank if it contained a 0. I can then control what cells have 1s and 0s in from another excel on another screen whilst the teams watch their character move around the main screen.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I was able to make this work, but when inserting the pictures I had to select "Place in Cell" for it to work. If I used "Place over Cells", it did not work. I was able to right click the image and select "Place in Cell" and then it worked. This is in 365.

Looks like one of those weird roll out timing issues with 365 maybe.
