Hey guys, I am search a large array with multiple columns B2:AC46. I want to be able to use a set of accounts in a kx1 column vector on my sheet as the reference and always return whatever value is directly next to that reference anywhere within the other array (e.g. I may have 40 in column 5 or it might be in column 15, and I need to return anything that is directly next to that value).

Thanks!!

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
I really don't understand your needs but it seems the Offset function would be useful. Maybe a bit more info or clearer explanation/example will help. Dave

So I'm trying to search an array where there's numbers and return the reference to the right. So I could have the number 40 in A1 or B1 or C1 or D1 and I want to return the reference to the right of that number 40, wherever it is in the array.

Do U want a worksheet solution or VBA? Do U want to find numbers other than 40 and if so where's that number entered? "Array" has a specific meaning, are you referring to a section of data or do U want a formula that has your data entered/managed as an array? Dave
