I'm working on a table, and I want to be able to pick up a value from one cell, when i shade a box and copy it to another sheet. Any ideas on how this can be accomplished.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
What does this mean:
when i shade a box

What does shade mean and what is a box.

Do you mean when you select a cell inside a table.

So when you select Cells(2,1) in Table1 you want to copy this cell where.
What is the Table name?

What is the Table name?

For example, i have a table similar to below.

20 40 60 80 100
A1 A2 A3 A4 A5
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5

If for example i shade B4 as green, i want to then pick up the 80 value from the header and transfer it to a cell location on another sheet.

I asked two questions:
What is the name of the Table.
And copy the cell where and you did not answer either question.
Saying copy cell to other sheet is not specific.

And when you say shade. Do you mean interior color is Green?

The table has no name right now. Yes the cell colour would be green as an example.

Are you talking about a Excel Table?
Or a Excel sheet.

And i cannot help you if your Table has no name

Any Table you make has a name.

And still you have not said where to copy the value to.
