Hey folks,

I'm looking for a formula that can return multiple strings from a single cell based om "," and ";" delimiters. Please see example data below.

The cell will contain X countries with an abreaviation. Countries (incl abr.) are separated by ";" and country and abr. are separated by ",".

DATADesired result
United States, USUS
United States, US;Canada, CAUS,CA
United States, US;Canada, CA;Mexico, MXUS,CA,MX
United States, US;Canada, CA;Mexico, MX;Brazil, BRUS,CA,MX,BR
And so on…

Any suggestions are appreciated :)

Tom

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
How about
Excel Formula:
=TEXTJOIN(", ",,TRIM(INDEX(TEXTSPLIT(A2,",",";",1),,2)))
