I am trying to return the value of a cell using the cell reference address.

For example, Cell N9 has a value of 75.
I have the location of that cell, ie "N9".
So I want a formula to return the actual contents or value of "N9" which would be 75.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
sorry let me rephrase.
Cell K1 has the value "N9".
Cell N9 has the value of 75.
In Cell A1 i want a formula to reference the value in K1 (which would be "N9") and then return the value of that cell (which is really N9) so it returns "75".
