Hi there. I have searched for the answer but I think maybe I'm not quite describing my aim correctly in order for the search to return what I need.

Anyway I'm sure it's pretty easy for you guys. Here goes.

I would like a function/formula for the following.

If cell A1 is greater than the value of 2 OR cell B1 = today then return "Yes" in cell C1, otherwise return "No"

Column A will always be a list of numbers and Column B will always be a list of dates. There will never be a date in the past, only today or future.

We should assume there are no blanks.

Thanks in advance

Hi Peter. Thanks for the post. This seems to return "Yes" in all cases
That sounds like your numbers are probably not 'true numbers' but 'numbers stored as text'. Or it could be the dates stored as text. Or both.

Try this instead
=IF(OR(A1+0>2,B1+0=TODAY()),"Yes","No")
