I'm looking for a formula that will double the same digit.
In cell L6 I have digit 4 and need in cell S6 = 44.

1 = 11
2 = 22
3 = 33 etc...

Thank you.
Serge.

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
If they are all single digit numbers, you could do:
=L6*11
or you could do:
=L6 & L6
or
=REPT(L6,2)

If you need the last one to return a number, then:
=REPT(L6,2)+0

...or
=REPT(L6,2)

If you need the last one to return a number, then:
=REPT(L6,2)+0

The above two, of course, are for multiple digits. If you wanted to stay with a numerical calculation like your original multiplication by 11 (which was only for single digits), but for multiple digits, you could use something like this...

=L6*(1+10^LEN(L6))
