Retain accent marks when pasting data into excel

Hello,
I am running sql and need to paste my results into excel. We have a lot of company names from other countries where there are accent marks like ~ ` etc. in the company name. When I paste into excel, I'm getting this �.

I would like to know if there is a way to paste to retain these accent marks?
