Is it possible to have a form where specific fields can't be edited?

e.g. Contact details such as Name, Address etc can't be edited; but the 'Comments' box can be edited?

Or disabled property. If locked, the control appearance remains normal and users may not understand the inability to choose it. If disabled, it has a ghosted appearance, thus its inaccessibility might be more intuitive.
