Hi,
I've searched for an answer for a while now. And according to my research it is not possible to resize an individual cell, without resizing the entire row/coloumn.

I'm posting here to validate my research, which is telling me that it is in fact not possible. :)

Thanks in advance

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Yeah that's basically right, in Excel anyway.

You CAN merge a cell with one or more of its neighbours, to make it bigger, but that can create some problems, depending on what exactly you want to do.

You can't do that, if you resize a single cell's row height or column width, it affects the entire row/column respectively that it's on, hence why you have a 2 dimensional grid as a sheet.

Using merged cells, you may be able to get a close approximation to what you're after.
