Hi,

I am battling now for 2 days to reset the aotonumber field to 1. I have tried to delete the column and put it in again but that doesn't work either. I will appreciate it if anyone can give me the procedure on how to reset the autonumber field.

Thanks a lot

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
If you go on tools/database utilities and select compact and repair this resets the autonumber. Don,t know if there are other ways!

Hope this helps
