I have an Excel workbook with one data set and numerous pivot tables. There are numerous slicers that apply to all pivot tables and then a few that only apply to specific pivot tables. There are a few slicers that I preset to show only specific data before I send out the link to the file to my team for use. The file is checked out to me so that the users can open, evaluate, filter, etc. but cannot save the file.

What I want to be able to provide is a button that resets the entire workbook to the preset values for every filter or slicer setting and not necessarily clear all filters.

I know I could instruct the users to just close the file and re-open, but that is not how I was hoping to provide this solution.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
A simple solution might be to keep a separate sheet that contains an unedited version of those pivot tables. A macro can just copy that template sheet to replace the sheet the user was working on.

Since it sounds like the "Preset Values" might change, there will need to be a config section that the macro references to reset each slicer individually. You would probably want a second macro that fills the config section by reading all the slicers.
