Hi there,
I've made a report in access, and one of the bits of data i want it to show is the date from a form. Trouble is the form automatically puts today's date unless you change it. This doesn't transfer to the report - it just puts a blank in its place.

Any ideas please?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

From where on the form are you attempting to retrieve a date? (txtbox, box with control source set to field on table, etc.)

Okay,

Do you have the control source of the textbox set to a date field on the table from which you are generating the report? This should stamp every record with the date on which it was entered. If you put this field on the report it should give you a date for each record...is this what you want?
