Report based on 2 parameter queries

Hello:

I am trying to run a report based on 2 parameter query. The 2 queries are based on the same table and have the same input. the first query gives me a summary for the Period I enter in the parameter query, i.e. it only gives me the data for that period.

The second parameter query gives me a YTD summary for all the periods equal and less than the input period in the parameter.

I am trying to get the single report based on these 2 queries.

Make two reports, one for the period amounts, and one for the YTD amounts. Now make a third report, leave it unbound, and position the two reports you just created on it, side by side, as subreports. The option to insert a subreport is located on the control toolbox.

You will have to adjust the formating to suite your needs, notice that the subreports have a border around them that you might want to set to transparent.
