Is it possible to reply to an old post and expect to get an answer? I was reviewing a two year old post and have a question. Or should I post my
question as a new post?
 
I would recommend starting a new post, especially if it wasn't your thread to begin off with. You can make reference to the old post you found.

And if anyone gives you any grief over it, you can tell them a Moderator said it was OK! :wink:
 
People do this all the time... We don't really get too uppity about it, while it's not preferred...

Agreeing with JM, you're best off to start a new thread with a Subject specific to your quandary.

If there's relevant information in another thread, provide a link to that thread and explain its relevance. :)
