Replace a word within a string in 1 cell with the value from an adjacent cell

Hello,

I have over 4000 rows that contain the same string, but I need the word from that string in the cell to be replaced with the value in the adjacent cell.

For example, I need to replace the word $BTDelete with the value from the next column B for each row.

Any help on a formula or VBScript would be appreciated.

I tried but it wouldn't let me select the value from the adjoining cell and gives me an error

=REPLACE(A1,FIND("$BTD",A1),LEN("$BTDelete"),B1)
