Hi all,

Using Office365.

How can I pickup a stacked row header and repeat it going down 1 column until the row header begins then begin the new row header?
Column B has the name of the Region (North, South, etc....)
Column C has the word Region
I want column B to contain North Region and continue until a new region is picked up and then output that region until the next and so forth
There are sever files to load, each file has varying number of rows per region

Thanks,
W

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Not quite sure what you are aiming for, but it sounds like you want to Fill Down? Otherwise, a screenshot or sample table of what you have vs what you want is much more helpful.

Thanks severynm,

I ended up going with VBA solution instead just for timeliness. But I need to come back and figure out the PQ solution later.
I'll post a sample a bit later this evening.

Thanks,
