I have a workbook and every time I open it a custom toolbar appears at the top when it is not supposed to. This toolbar was attached to another workbook but that workbook and toolbar are no longer used. This workbook was working fine until the other day. It seams that it has somehow attached itself to this workbook and I cannot get rid of it.

I have tried deleting by selecting it from Tools/Customize/Toolbars and deleting it. When I reopen the workbook it reloads.

How do I get this rouge toolbar deleted for good?

Please help.

Chris

Open the workbook. Choose View-Toolbars-Customize from the menu. Then on the Toolbars tab click Attach... locate the toolbar in the right hand list, select it and press Delete.

Rorya,

Thank for your help, this had been giving me a big headache and now it is gone. I was deleting the toolbar from the Tools/Customize/Toolbar screen but this did work.

The key to deleting it was to go to this same screen and then into "Attach" and then deleting it from the "Toolbars In Workbook:" pane.

Thanks again.;)
