Hi all,
I have a workbook template with a couple dozen named ranges. Since it is a template, I am naming all of the ranges with an XX at the start, i.e. XXmonths or XXcreditdue. When I use the template to load data for a client, I want to change the XX's to the acronym of the client I am working on to ensure there are no conflicts between workbooks. I'd like to assign a macro to do it. Can I create a macro to replace XX with text in a specified cell in my workbook?
Part two of my question involves all of my pivot tables. When I rename my named ranges, all of my formuals automatically update. I have about 10 pivottables and pivotcharts that do not, so I have to go through and update the data source to the new named range. Can a macro change the reference for ALL of my pivottables to one that I specify?
I'd appreciate the help!
