Renaming duplicates

Hi,

I have a large table which contains many duplicates in one column.

Some have 3 duplicates, some 5, some 7 etc.

What I want to do is rename the duplicates to original name-01, original name-02 etc.

Any easy way to do this ?

Hi,

Can you change the formula so the first duplicate value is left unchanged and the following ones have unique tags ?

e.g

A
A-01
A-02
B
B-01
B-02

what if i want to map the other sheet showing A-01 as well but ensure it is A-01 if is ABFL?

Your question seems to be a bit different than the original question.
