removing row and column filters in pivot tables

Hi
When I insert anything under Row or Column in pivot table, excel will add a filter for that Row or Column i.e Row Labels and Column Labels? I can delete the content of these cell (Row Labels and Column labels) but how can I get rid of the Filter drop down arrow? Thank you.
