I am currently using, Office 2003, but I would imagine other versions do similar things.
When I install Office, I choose to not be a part of the "Office Customer Experience Program" but then I still get the following icon in my Windows 7 Taskbar Notifcation Area....
Microsoft Office Word
Microsoft Office Customer Experience Improvement Program (description part below above item)
I just did a fresh install, and I can't remember that icon remaining there in the past.
I know it can be hidden by Windows 7 but I was wondering if within Office itself if there was a check box option to not have it there at all (rather than having to use some kind of regedit to remove it)
Does anyone else have this notification icon, even thought they choose not to participate?
Any suggestions, please let me know
Thank You
